Don't just take, Give

The Full Story ✨

As a passionate teacher 🎓 and avid traveler 🌍, I have always wanted to give back to the local communities I visited. However, I quickly realized that this wasn’t as easy as I had hoped. Many organizations that aligned with my interests lacked the flexibility I was looking for. They often restricted participation to certain age groups or specific times of the year ⏳, making it difficult to integrate volunteering into my travel plans. Additionally, they didn’t always allow direct contact with schools 🏫 to tailor the support to their actual needs.

In search of a more flexible solution, I decided to reach out to schools on my own. While some welcomed my help immediately 🤝, many lacked clear points of contact, making it challenging to understand their needs and offer meaningful support. Determined to find a way, I partnered with a community center in Sámara, Costa Rica and started offering my own workshops. I taught wherever I could—on the beach 🏝️, in the jungle🌳, even in garages.

But my time was limited ⏳. I wanted to create something that would allow more volunteers to have the same meaningful experiences and truly connect with local communities. That’s how Globe4Good was born — a platform that brings together passionate travelers ✈️ and schools in need 🎒, providing a bridge between cultures and a chance to make a real impact.

Let's connect 🤝
